A lot goes on in a 48-hour rail shutdown with so many people and machinery crowded into the narrow rail corridor.

Joe Wagner Group are always looking for ways to work more safely and efficiently, so on their latest shutdown at Brigalow for Queensland Rail, they trialled the Sentinel AI Pedestrian Recognition System on their machinery.

Developed by PRM Engineering a division of PRM Solutions Australasia, it alerts both the operators and the pedestrians of any danger. Thanks to this technology and the great work of operators and subcontractors, Joe Wagner Group once again successfully delivered 2.8km of track reconditioning on time and without incident.
